FAQs

If you have any question that is not addressed, please get in touch – we’d be happy to discuss it with you.

1. What kit / equipment will my child need?

Clothing: shorts, t-shirt, jumper / tracksuit top, football socks.

Shoes: suitable for indoor use. Non-marking, and not muddy.

Other: water bottle, any medication (e.g. inhalers)

2. I’m not sure if my child will like it – what shall I do?

We offer two free trial sessions – come and try it before you decide if your child wants to sign up for regular classes.

Children can often be nervous about starting a class for the first time. Please bring them on time to their first session so we can provide a friendly welcome to you and your child at the start. If they are reluctant to join in then there is no pressure on them – it’s fine for them to watch with you until they feel confident joining in.

3. What standard does my child need to be?

They can be any standard, as long as they’re in the age range for the particular class. From beginners to advanced players, we tailor the activities to accommodate everyone.

4. Can I stay and watch?

Our venues have a viewing area where you are able to watch your child participate in the session.

In order to create the best environment for our players, we ask that spectators adhere to our club code of conduct. In particular we ask that parents allow the children to experience the joy of discovering things for themselves, and the freedom to make mistakes without being coached or criticised by any spectators.

5. How much is each class?

We charge on a termly-basis. Please see details of each particular class for specific details. Cost per class will depend on the length of the session and the cost of the venue.
